Oh hi!
I’m once again asking for questions I can answer.
I had a good thing going for awhile writing about the revelation that I was Jewish after my dad hid it from me for years.
And then I started writing about my time on the Adam Carolla show and that shit BLEW UP.
I understand. It was a popular show that raised more questions than it answered. And here I was answering them! I was content to keep doing that but then my mom had the fucking nerve to die suddenly and now I’m in a G-hole which is where you’re stuck being extremely goth.
I could write about my decision to forego embalming for both parents.
Or my changing feelings about burial vs. cremation.
Or how I felt seeing my dad’s body vs my mom’s.
Or how I would rank different kinds of deaths.
Honestly that is where my head is at
so I am begging you to save me from myself and save my devoted subscribers from saying, “This bitch is depressing the fuck out of me,” which I would get. I get it!
But don’t go! I’m still fun!!!! I have a fish tank and a pet beetle! Okay the last one might be indicative of gothiness.
Anyway, please provide me with some questions you would like me to answer and then I won’t write about cremains.
Thank you!
Alison
I’ve only ever spent two days in LA so I don’t have a sense of the scale of it. It appears to be spread out in a way that makes it seem like there are vast tracts of land in between its metropolitan centers. It like a state more than a city. Is this description valid. Please know I’m a born and bred New Yorker so cities to me are urban AF. I mean until you get to Eastern Queens and it turns into Long Island Light.
Oh dang, hit send too soon…..😳
Through an interview with Fitzsimmons I found the ACS and then “Alison Rosen is your new best friend”I love your show! I know you have told this before, but what brought you back to Los Angeles from New York?
